What does Calgary Poop Troop do?
Our friendly staff provide pet waste removal and disposal services at affordable prices. We take your pet's waste with us so you don't have to worry about smell or contamination in your own garbage bin.
An example of a regular service day: Before we arrive, you will get a "on our way" text from us so you know we'll be in your yard shortly. When we arrive, we go straight to work after ensuring the gate is closed behind us. We do not usually disturb you by knocking on your door or leaving pamphlets. We cover every area of the yard by walking in a grid pattern, at least twice - ensuring maximum recovery.
How often can you service my yard?
Most clients opt for our weekly service, but each situation is different. Other clients prefer service every two weeks or some want twice a week. We are happy to customize service frequency to your needs. We tyipically only offer bi-weekly services through the summer months.
What if I want to skip one week?
If you decide that your yard does not require a service one week, simply give us 24 hrs notice prior to the day of your pick-up and we will skip that week without any fee.
How do I extend my service?
Extending our service is automatic, easy and hassle-free. Simply call or email us if you wish to discontinue the service. Otherwise, your weekly or biweekly pickups will continue automatically.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No contracts are necessary. Service can easily be cancelled via phone or email, as long as you give us 24 hrs notice prior to the day of your pick-up.
Is there an initial clean-up fee?
Initial clean-up fees are waived with well maintained yards, and otherwise is based on accumulation and duration.
New clients will be charged a first-time cleaning fee only if the yard has significant waste accumulation. If the yard has been maintained, this one-time fee will be waived.
Will I need to be home?
One of our goals is to provide you with more time to enjoy life. You do not need to be home in order for us to service your yard. But if your yard is locked, we DO require some way to safely enter (ie: lock combination or extra key).
Can my dog be in the yard?
As animal owners and lovers ourselves, dogs are welcome as we service the yard. However, there are some cases where we may require your dog to be restrained or confined while we work, especially if your dog is aggressive or trained to keep people out of the yard.
What are your hours of operation?
Your dogs don't stop pooping, so we don't stop working. Our business operates year-round and pick-ups will continue in any weather; rain, snow or shine. If conditions are severe we will postpone service until the following day, or the following week; depending on situation. We will always inform you of any changes by prompt email.

How do I pay?
A bill is sent out at the end of each month by email, with payments due one month after. Payments can be made by cash, cheque, Paypal, and email transfer through pooptroop@pooperscoopin.com
Pre-payments are also welcome. Each client has a mini-account with us. We keep track of any money you decide to send our way - and credit your account. We inform you when your credit gets low.
A 10% charge is applied to late payments. A $25.00 fee is applied to bounced cheques.
What do you mean by "100% satisfaction guaranteed"?
Our business flourishes because we put our customers' needs first. If you are in any way unsatisfied with our service, do not hesitate to contact us. Please contact us within 48 hours if you require re-servicing. We are more than happy to resolve any issues or concerns.
In order to provide quality service, a maintained yard (cut grass and raked leaves) will ensure that we do not miss any hidden waste during our pick-up. If your dog has loose or runny stools, we will do our best to clean them up.
How do I set up service?
Getting you started is a breeze. When you contact us, we will gather neccessary information (address, number of dogs, special instructions..etc.) and have you scheduled right away for whenever you wish to begin.
After you send us all your information, we will send you the day of the week when we can service you based on our service route. If you are happy with your service day, simply confirm and you are scheduled and set to go.
